Poster from an anti-nuclear conference held at the World Trade Center by the still active World Federation of Scientific Workers (founded 1946), and hosted by the politically active scientist J.D. Bernal. The artist, Gene Maslow, was an environmentalist in addition to being a painter and sculptor who showed at MoMA, LACMA and the Hirshhorn.
