Deutsch, Herbert A. New York: Alfred Publishing Co. 1976.
7 1/2 x 10 inches. pp. , viii-vii, 1-71, 17 b&w full-page photos, 73-140, . Fair condition: exterior wear including various nicks, inside front cover pen and removed tape, pencil on several pages, a couple of pages with foxed spots.
Deutsch worked on the first Moog prototype with Robert Moog (1964), and he composed the first piece for the Moog: "Jazz Images, a Worksong and Blues" (which is pretty jazzy, but yields some glimpses of later electronica staples like glitching and repetition). Deutsch also gave the first major live Moog public performance at Town Hall in New York in 1965.
